HISTORY

A Deeper Look

Hannah Garcia started competitively dancing throughout her teenage years. She attended TopFlight Dance center where she was heavily trained in modern as well as ballet, hip- hop, jazz, and tap. She attended the rigorous High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas where she received an acceptance letter to the dance department . Throughout her years there she had the opportunity to perform Martha Graham’s Appalachian Spring in which she played the role of the bride. She also had opportunities to work with and learn from Roderick George, Robbie Moore, Zachary Tang, Christian Warner, Ben Doloney, and Parker Esse. As a competitive dancer she attended New York City Dance Alliance’s nationals, in which she auditioned for and was chosen to be a recipient of their college scholarship fund. Hannah has had the opportunity to work closely with Jennifer Archibald in three residencies, as well as Sidra Bell at MODAS summer training program. After graduating from HSPVA, she was determined to continue her dance education at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. With a generous scholarship, she is now a college graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in contemporary dance performance. In her time at the conservatory, Hannah has had the opportunity to perform works by Robert Moses, Juel Lane, Jennifer Archibald, and more. Hannah recently performed at the Crypto.com arena, formerly known as the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. She was one of twelve dancers who performed in front of the 20,000 people who attended LA’s annual KCON K-POP concert. Hannah plans on continuing to further her training and education in all aspects of dance in Los Angeles, California. To view RESUME scroll down.
